| I have founded this group in the hopes that it becomes a safe haven for deviants such as ourselves to indulge in our passion for all things robotic, wither it be Androids, Cyborgs, Mecha or just good old fashioned Robots. Here you can post any artwork, photos, literature, and just about anything you can think of that relates to the robotic nature. Go ahead as I said indulge. I encourage artists of all skill levels to go ahead and submit work, this is a group with a shared common interest, let's show each other what we appreciate the most about our robot friends. If there is anything I can do to make this group better, don't hesitate to send me a note. I am looking forward to seeing how everything progresses. Your friendly neighborhood Robot enthusiast  Rules  I will not tolerate any kind of harassment between deviants, I want to keep this group civil. No spamming the group or its members. Joining To join go ahead an click the button on the header, I will let it automatically approve the request. Submitting Work You can do this by opening the Gallery folder and clicking the Contribute Work button. There are multiple folders in which to submit your work. Select the appropriate folder you think your work belongs to and submit. There is a five per day cap on the submissions as to keep our inboxes from overflowing with a particular persons work. Please try to space your submissions. If I find that someone has submitted to the wrong folder I will try to let you know, and you can withdraw and resubmit to the correct one. I don't have the time to do this for you so please pay attention. If you need help knowing what folder is right for your work, refer to the folder descriptions below. If I find that someone continues to submit to the incorrect folder after being notified I will release them from this group.Suggesting Faves You may also suggest favorites to be contributed to the  folder, those will be subject to vote. Just keep in mind that while it's nice to suggest a piece, try not to aim solely on one's that just have DD's and a ton of pageviews. The aim here is to let all kinds of people get attention for their work. Also, do not submit your own work into these folders. If you are a member you may only submit to the actual gallery. Folder Descriptions Future Visions - A folder dedicated to your ideas of all kinds of mechanizations. Original polished pieces and designs only please. Media 'Bots - This folder is dedicated to all sorts of 'bots from the media wither it be television, print, film. You name it. It's it's widely known, it goes here.Nude 'Bots - This folder is for any humanoid machine that just so happens to be in the nude. It could have skin or just plain open wiring!Handmade Forces - For physical handmade pieces and for photos of modified objects. If you built it/created it by hand drop it in here.Fembots - A folder just for those nicely tuned 'bots. It speaks for itself.Rising Sun Electronica - Anything in relation to Japanese media would go here. This means any fanart based on manga, video games, and anime as well as pieces based on particular styles of Japanese art.Sequential Art - If you have comic based work featuring robots it can go here, but please don't submit an entire book, you are welcome to post a few pages for each chapter and let people follow from there. I say this so everyone can have a chance to have their work seen in the gallery.Lineart - This folder is for anyone too excited to wait until a piece is finished to share their work in progress. The folder is open for finished and clean lineart only, not loose sketches or doodles.Fan Characters - This folder is for creations based on preexisting media. Cybernetic Enhancements - For images that aren't quite fully robotic. Widely used example: Humans with robotic implants etc.Stamps - Pretty self explanatoryDrafting IRL - This folder is for work used in real life applications regarding robotics. When submitting to this folder, briefly describe it's real world application so I know it goes to the right place. Electronics-R-Us - For anything relating to electronica. It could include robots or just plain everyday machines or mechanical objects.Hardcopy - For literature about robots and the like.Open Media - For any sketches and images submitted by photography. If you submit work that's not polished enough for the Future Visions (or any other) folder, it will belong here.Tutorials - Submit any tutorials you'd like to share here! |
